Invitation: Bridal Shower
An introduction assignment that helped apply the design principles of alignment and proximity. An invitation uses elements to communicate a type of event using aesthetic designs. Using minimal colors and text fonts, developed this Bridal Shower invitation. The task was only using one to two colors, no more than three typefaces, no photography or illustration, no type effects, and to utilize alignment and proximity. With the minimal requirements, I was prompted to create a Bridal Shower invitation for one of my best friends. She is getting married in the Spring and I thought it would be beneficial to help her design her invitations for her Bridal Shower. Her wedding colors are dusty blue and peach. I incorporated tones of peach to keep it neutral looking. Included is the name of the event, who the event is for, time, location, and RSVP information.
